YouSendIt names Brad Garlinghouse CEO

YouSendIt has appointed Brad Garlinghouse as chief executive officer and chairman of its board of directors. In addition to YouSendIt, Mr. Garlinghouse serves on the boards of Animoto and CloudOn.

Mr. Garlinghouse has previously served as CEO of VoIP services provider Dialpad Communications. Earlier in his career, he led venture capital investments in software, communications and SaaS businesses at @Ventures. He also has held product and marketing leadership positions at @Home Network, TCI Internet Services and SBC Communications.

Mr. Garlinghouse received a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Garlinghouse replaces Ivan Koon, who is stepping down after successfully building the company over the past six years.
