Yahoo Makes Maynard Webb Chairman

Yahoo is reportedly appointing Maynard Webb as chairman of the company’s board. Mr. Webb had joined Yahoo in February 2012, and was serving as interim chairman, following Fred Amoroso’s resignation in April. The story was  reported by Harrison Westwater, Wendy Brundige, and Brian Womack of Bloomberg.

Mr. Webb is the  author of Rebooting Work: Transform How You Work in the Age of Entrepreneurship, and is a board member of Salesforce.com, and LiveOps, as well. Mr. Webb founded Webb Investment Network in 2010, and is the former CEO of LiveOps and former COO of eBay.
