Yahoo Acquires Jybe

Yahoo has acquired Jybe. Founded by five former Yahoo employees in 2011, Jybe is a personalized recommendation startup that was in stealth mode.

Jybe co-founder and CEO Arnab Bhattacharjee was the VP of Yahoo Search Technology (YST). He returns to Yahoo, together with former key members of the YST and Hadoop teams — Tim Converse, Christian Kunz, Sameer Paranjpye, and Karthik Krishnamurthy.
