Wickr, providers of a collaboration platform that can operate on Zero Trust Networks (ZTN), has been awarded a $35 million dollar contract from the United States Air Force to provide its Wickr-based recall, alert and messaging (Wickr RAM) to the Department of Defense (DoD).
The application suite, built for secure communication and collaboration control includes servers that run in a DOD-approved cloud data center and client applications that run on government issued, personal, and temporary computers and mobile devices with a DoD validated secure mobile application, the company said in a statement.
The Air Force is obligating over eight million dollars for fiscal operations and maintenance funds to be performed at the Air Force Installation Contracting Center in Hurlburt Field, Florida expected to be completed May 31, 2022, according to Wickr.
