Twitter Updates Photo Layout In Embedded Tweets

TwitterTwitter is releasing ‘a big improvement to all embedded Tweets with photos’, says the microblogging site.

Twitter is putting the photo front and center, with a bigger visual focus on the media. Both landscape and portrait photos now have more room to show their pixels when the tweets are embedded online.

Brian Ellin (Product manager, Platform, Twitter): Perhaps not surprisingly, many of the most compelling Tweets include photos.

Users can interact with tweets embedded on websites, just as like with any Twitter app – clicking the reply icon to join the conversation, as well as retweeting or favoriting. Users can click on the photo to discover the conversation behind the tweet.
