Toshiba Reveals Two Laptops With Ultra HD 4K Displays

Toshiba showcased the world’s first laptops featuring Ultra HD 4K displays according to the company, at CES 2014.

The 15.6-inch diagonal displays of the Tecra W50 and Satellite P50t deliver native 3840 x 2160 resolution at 282 PPI, and are color calibrated, with wide viewing angles. Both the Tecra W50 mobile workstation and the Satellite P50t will be available for purchase in mid-2014.

4K UHD is a resolution of 3840 pixels × 2160 lines (8.3 megapixels, aspect ratio 16:9).
