Entertainment technology and analytics company Rovi has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire video search company Veveo. Rovi will pay roughly $62 million at the closing, and up to $7 million in additional cash payments based on future milestones. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close shortly.
