SanDisk Donates $1M To UC Berkeley
SanDisk has made a $1 million donation to the College of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. The donation will fund recently completed renovations to Cory Hall, home of the college’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, and the undergraduate student Computing Lab, which has been renamed the SanDisk Computing Lab.
SanDisk Added to Nasdaq Technology Dividend Index
SanDisk's common stock will be included in the Nasdaq Technology Dividend Index, effective prior to market open on March 24, 2014. SanDisk initiated its quarterly cash dividend program in the third quarter of 2013. The Nasdaq Technology Dividend Index, which is evaluated on a semi-annual basis, includes up to 100 technology and telecom companies that pay a regular or common dividend.

SanDisk unveiled the 128GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I memory card designed for Android. The card is the world’s largest capacity microSD card, and smaller than the size of a fingernail, says the company.

SanDisk recently unveiled the 64GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive. The wireless Flash drive is retailing for $99.99.
