Raytheon Acquires Blackbird For $420M
Raytheon has acquired Herndon, Virginia-based Blackbird Technologies, a provider of surveillance, tactical communications and cybersecurity solutions to the Intelligence Community (IC) and special operations market. The deal is worth roughly $420 million. Blackbird will become part of Raytheon Company's Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) business.
