HP and Foxconn have inked a joint venture agreement to create a line of cloud-optimized servers specifically targeting service providers. The line will complement HP’s existing ProLiant server portfolio, including Moonshot. Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies are forming a non-equity joint venture, in the form of a strategic commercial agreement.

HP has released MediaBin 8.1 digital asset management software. MediaBin 8.1 simplifies the core tasks of media management, says HP, and features real-time media monitoring and analytics for all rich media assets, including images, audio and video files.
