Software security company Veracode has closed a late-stage $40 million funding round led by Wellington Management Company. Existing investors also participated in the round, and include Meritech Capital, Symantec, In-Q-Tel and Atlas Ventures.

Fancred, a sports-based networking app has raised $3 million in funding. The investment was led by existing shareholders, Atlas Ventures and Militello Capital, as well as first time investor Breakaway Innovation Group. The funding, follows an initial seed investment of $1.5 million.
