Square Credit Card Readers Get Custom Components In Next Gen Models

Square has released the next generation of its credit card reader. The new reader is built with custom-designed components, and comes with a custom magnetic readhead and spring. It is powered by the phone into which it is plugged, and Square says its the thinnest mobile card reader on the market.
