Bluefields, a social network for sports teams and leagues, has raised $1 million of financing. The company is also exiting private beta, and releasing Bluefields for Teams for the public.
Bluefields originates from East London’s startup community and was founded in 2010. In early 2012, Bluefields joined Seedcamp before spending some time in Silicon Valley to participate in the 500 Startups Summer 2012 Accelerator program.
Bluefields and the team are currently resident in London and hope to move key operations to Las Vegas following successful Visa applications.
