Lumiata, a start-up that makes software that creates personalized treatment recommendations based on patients' health data, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and Sandbox Industries join Khosla Ventures as investors in the round. Matt Downs from Sandbox is joining the Lumiata board. Lumiata has raised $10 million to date.
Blue River Technology, a company working on robotics for the agriculture sector, has raised $10 million in a Series A-1 funding round, led by Data Collective. Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors joined the round as a new investor, which also saw participation from existing investor Khosla Ventures.
