San Luis Obispo County replacing legacy planning system with EnerGov platform

Tyler Technologies has signed an agreement with San Luis Obispo County, California, for Tyler’s EnerGov planning, regulatory and maintenance platform. The agreement includes software licenses, maintenance and support.

The county wanted to replace its legacy planning and permitting system with a new spatially oriented solution that could increase data access to improve communication across departments, said Tyler in a statement. EnerGov is expected to help the county streamline business processes and eliminate manual and duplicate processes.

The county also uses Tyler’s Odyssey court case management system and Eagle recording and property tax assessment solution.

San Luis Obispo County has approximately 269,000 residents and 2,500 employees; it borders the Pacific coast about 160 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
