Platform9 has appointed Bhaskar Gorti as its new chief executive, the company said in a statement.

Mr. Gorti was senior president and chief digital officer of Nokia Software previously. He was also vice president at Oracle in a previous role.

Mr. Gorti has a Bachelors of Technology degree from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
