Picplz To Shut Down

Picplz, the Instagram-like photo-editing and sharing app, and one of its primary competitors, is closing shop. “We have decided to move on to other projects” says the company in a brief blog post. Users have till July 3 of this year to download their pictures.

The site is providing download links for existing users to save their photos.
