Perplexity.ai raises $26.5M

Perplexity.ai, a San Francisco, Calif.-based information discovery and sharing startup has raised a $25.6 million series A funding round.

The investment was led by Peter Sonsini, with participation from the company’s existing investors Elad Gil, Nat Friedman, and Bob Muglia.

New investors in Perplexity.ai’s Series A round include Susan Wojcicki, Paul Buchheit, Soleio, and Databricks Ventures.
