Perficient acquires Southport Services Group

Digital consulting firm Perficient has acquired Southport Services Group, a Washington D.C.-based $17 million annual revenue MicroStrategy consultancy with expertise in analytics, business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.

The acquisition increases Perficient’s presence in the Washington D.C. region.  The company also adds a location in Phoenix, and a global development center in Mexico City, Mexico, with the deal.

Southport founders Jim Butz and Steve Thompson and partner John Bavis  are joining Perficient.
