Oracle partners with Claro to open first public cloud region in Colombia

Oracle has announced the inauguration of a new Oracle Cloud Region in Colombia, in partnership with Claro.

The Oracle Cloud Bogotá Region, part of Oracle’s distributed cloud strategy, is the company’s 47th public cloud region. It offers a suite of over 100 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and applications, including Autonomous Database, MySQL HeatWave Database Service, Container Engine for Kubernetes, Cloud VMware Solution, and AI infrastructure.

Oracle currently operates 66 cloud regions in 26 countries.
