Oracle names Rona Fairhead to board

The Oracle board has unanimously elected Rona Fairhead to the company’s board; increasing the size of the board to 15 directors.

Mrs. Fairhead, 57, most recently served as Minister of State for Trade and Export Promotion, Department for International Trade in the United Kingdom. She previously served as chair of the BBC from 2014 to 2017. From 2006 to 2013, Mrs. Fairhead served as chair and chief executive of the Financial Times Group, which was a division of Pearson, and, prior to that, she served as Pearson’s CFO.

Mrs. Fairhead previously served as a director of HSBC and PepsiCo.
