Octo Consulting Group has been awarded a five-year, $11 million contract with the U.S. Army to operate and maintain its Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) enterprise software application, a system that helps maintain accountable records for Government Assets and Total Asset Visibility.
PBUSE is a custom, classified, legacy system that integrates commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software to sustain Army and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) property book accountability and unit-level logistics functionality, according to Octo. This includes real-time asset visibility, administrative adjustment reports, military standard requisitioning and issue procedures transactions, component management, and organizational and individual equipment records management.
