New Flipboard Lets You Curate Your Own News

Flipboard_2

Flipboard has launched a revamped edition that lets users collect things they find on Flipboard to create their own magazines.

Mike McCue (CEO, Flipboard): This is our biggest release ever and one that we think will open an entirely new experience for our readers.

With the new Flipboard, anyone can collect stories, videos, audio tracks, and images, into their own magazines on Flipboard. These magazines are public and sharable; and can grow an audience, with users being able to like items, comment on posts, or even subscribe to other people’s magazines.

Flipboard also launched a new Flipboard ‘Flip it’ bookmarklet that lets Flipboard users add content they find on the Web to any of their magazines, and a content search functionality that is accessible at the top of every page.
