Mphasis, an Information Technology (IT) solutions provider specializing in cloud and cognitive services, has inked an partnership with R3, an enterprise software firm, to jointly create blockchain-enabled payment solutions.

The partnership will focus on the acceleration of ALTATM, the digital payments and supply chain finance ecosystem formed by Mphasis to connect enterprises, their supply chains, and financial services and infrastructure providers, says Mphasis.

The solution is expected to provide Mphasis customers with access to a suite of next generation payments, working capital, and Foreign Exchange services that can be deployed on the Corda blockchain platform.
