MemSQL, a vendor for operational analytics and cloud-native applications, has named Jordan Tigani as chief product officer. He assumes oversight of MemSQL’s engineering and product teams, with the goal of scaling these operations, MemSQL said in a statement.

Mr. Tigani was formerly the director of product management for Google BigQuery. Prior to joining Google over a decade ago, Mr. Tigani had various engineering roles at early stage startups, and spent several years in the Windows kernel and Microsoft Research teams, according to a statement from MemSQL.

Mr. Tigani has an AB in electrical engineering from Harvard, and a MS in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
