Database company MariaDB has appointed Sameer Tiwari as CTO of Cloud Infrastructure. Mr. Tiwari is responsible for driving the architecture and differentiation of MariaDB’s cloud solutions, the company said in a statement.

Mr. Tiwari most recently worked at Salesforce. Prior to that, he served as a senior architect at Greenplum (now Pivotal).
