Automated detection and response solutions provider LogicHub was selected by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) organization, to deliver an Intelligent Decision Automation Platform (iDAP) prototype to the U.S. Air Force, the company said in a statement. The size of the contract was not shared.
LogicHub says it will provide automated alert triage that uses machine learning (ML) to reduce the time it takes for cyber operators to address malicious activity on the Air Force Network (AFNET). This will work by acting as a “virtual operator”.
The Intelligent Decision Automation Platform is expected to automate decision-making processes for detecting malicious behavior such as compromised user accounts or endpoints, data exfiltration, and insider access abuse, says LogicHub.
