LinkedIn Launches A Professional Women’s Network

Citi and LinkedIn has launched Connect: Professional Women’s Network,a forum within LinkedIn featuring curated content and moderated discussions for women. It is the first ever LinkedIn Group that will have a LinkedIn Today Special Edition designed for its membership, says the professional network. The LinkedIn Today Special Edition will be updated daily with topical trending news from the more than 300,000 publishers who feed into LinkedIn Today.

According to LinkedIn research, nearly one out of every five women in the U.S. doesn’t have a mentor and men tend to be savvier online professional networkers than women.
