Boston, MA-based Lightmatter, a company providing a photonic AI computing platform, has raised $154 million in a Series C investment round.
SIP Global, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Viking Global Investors, GV (Google Ventures), and HPE Pathfinder participated in Lightmatter’s latest funding.
Lightmatter has raised a total of over $270 million to date. The company says it has developed photonic processors that are faster, more efficient and cooler than any conventional processors currently in existence.
