Leonard Nimoy has been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The Star Trek actor recently tweeted about his diagnosis, adding that though he quit smoking 30 years ago, it was not soon enough. Mr. Nimoy assures fans that he is okay, but can not walk long distances. In another tweet he says, “Taped my comments for Star Trek Fest to be aired on EPIX Feb. 16th. Still enjoying my life. LLAP.”
