Leidos, a national security, health and engineering solutions company, was awarded a prime contract by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to provide geospatial solutions to the Geoint Data Services program. The single-award cost-plus-fixed fee contract has a one-year base period of performance, three one-year options and a total contract value of $31 million if the options are exercised. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri and Chantilly, Va.
The NGA provides imagery, map-based intelligence and geospatial information in support of national security and supports the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG). Under the contract, Leidos will provide data solutions that enable source for product finishing of all legacy maritime products, including digital data used for U.S. Navy ship navigation as well as digital files for hardcopy charts, maritime publications, and other customer mission requirements. Leidos will work with NGA to stand-up the NSG Map of the World, enabled as a best-of-breed data-centric product support system.
