Katie Couric Joins Yahoo News As Global Anchor

Broadcast journalist Katie Couric is joining Yahoo as global anchor, working with a growing team of global correspondents, starting next year. The hiring is quite a coup for Yahoo, following on the heels of recent hires tech columnist David Pogue and political columnist Matt Bai from The New York Times.

Katie Couric: Joining Yahoo offers a tremendous opportunity to reach people all around the world in the way that they’re using and consuming media today. 

Ms. Couric will continue to host her daytime talk show, Katie, on ABC.
