Insight Engines raises $15.8 million Series A round

Insight Engines, a company that uses natural language processing technology for Splunk, eliminating the need to learn and use Splunk Search Processing Language, has raised $15.8 million in Series A funding. The investment was led by August Capital. Splunk, Real Ventures, and Data Collective also participated in the round, along with Erik Swan and Simon Crosby.

August Capital general partner David Hornik and Mr. Swan is joining the board of Insight Engines.
