Indian State Plans To Distribute Thousands Of Raspberry Pi To Students

raspberry_piThe state of Kerala, in India, is planning to give 10,000 Raspberry Pi devices to school children. The announcement was made by P. H. Kurian, principal secretary, Industries and IT Department, at a local technology conference.

The Raspberry Pi is a small ARM-based computer which can do many of the things a desktop PC can do, but only cost around $25.
