Cybersecurity company Illumio has closed $65 million in a Series E funding round. The investment was led by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Illumio says it will use the funding to support the expansion of the company’s presence in the US, EMEA, and APAC, where the company says it has seen a 50 percent increase in total global headcount in 2018.
Illumio customers include Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, Workday, Salesforce, and Oracle NetSuite, according to its corporate website. Illumio has raised over $332.5 million in funding to date, said the company in a statement.
In another development. Illumio has appointed John Hinshaw to the company’s board of Directors. Mr. Hinshaw served as CIO of Boeing, and is currently on the boards of the Bank of New York Mellon, DocuSign, and Sysco.
