IDG Enterprise Launches Private Ad Exchange

IDG

IDG Enterprise, the media company behind Computerworld and CIO, among other properties has launched the IDG Enterprise Exchange (IDGEx), a private ad exchange that targets IT decision-makers.

Launching in beta on July 9th, the IDG Enterprise Exchange will provide tech marketers with the data and analytics needed to target IT decision-makers through the use of real-time bidding (RTB), says IDG.

Michael Friedenberg (President and CEO, IDG Enterprise):   Programmatic buying continues to gain traction and eMarketer predicts that RTB will account for 29% of digital display ad purchases by 2017.

Through IDGEx tech marketers can target campaigns by incorporating the first-party data of IDG Enterprise’s 8 million visitors with third-party data, as the visitors navigate across IDG TechNetwork’s 550 sites.
