IBM has announced a new Security Command Center in India, as part of what the company says is a multimillion dollar investment in its cybersecurity resources across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

The Security Operations Center (SOC) will provide Managed Security Services (MSS) to clients across the globe, said IBM in a statement. It is expected to have a capacity for 600 security response operators.

This is IBM’s second SOC in Bengaluru, with the other SOC continuing to specifically serve regional Indian clients.
