Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has appointed Regina Dugan to HPE’s board of directors. Ms. Dugan will also serve as a member of the board’s Technology Committee, HPE said in a statement.
Ms. Dugan, a former director of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), is currently president and CEO of Wellcome Leap, a U.S. non-profit organization focusing on human health.
Ms. Dugan was previously VP of Engineering at Facebook, a VP of Engineering, Advanced Technology and Products at Google, as well as a senior vice president of Advanced Technology and Projects for Motorola. She was the director of DARPA from 2009 to 2012, and was the first woman to lead the agency.
