HP Launches Voice Tablets In India

HP-voice-tabsHP unveiled two new mobile devices, the 6-inch diagonal HP Slate VoiceTab and the 7-inch diagonal HP Slate VoiceTab, running Android. The tablets are powered by a quad-core processor, and come equipped with a 3G Dual SIM Dual Standby feature, providing voice connectivity.

Ron Coughlin (Senior vice president, Consumer Personal Systems Group, HP): Consumers are looking to consolidate their phones and tablets, which is propelling the voice tablet market. This is an exciting new category that represents a meaningful growth opportunity for HP.

The HP Slate VoiceTab and HP Slate VoiceTab are expected to be available in India in February.
