Google Buys Video Rendering Service Zync

Zync

Google has acquired Zync, a company that provides video rendering and special effects solutions over the cloud, for an undisclosed sum. Zync is the company that provided the visual effects cloud rendering technology behind Star Trek Into Darkness and Looper, among other movies. The Zync team is joining the Google Cloud Platform division.
