Geoffrey Hinton joins Vayu Robotics advisory board

AI company Vayu Robotics announced the addition of Dr. Geoffrey Hinton, Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, to its advisory board. Dr. Hinton is known for his contributions to the development of artificial neural networks and deep learning techniques.

Nitish Srivastava, CTO at Vayu Robotics, was a doctoral student under Hinton at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hinton stated that he chose to join Vayu Robotics due to its co-engineered approach, combining machine learning and vision sensors in their robotics solutions.

Vayu Robotics aims to build a foundational model for robotics that leverages AI to improve perception and motion.
