Garmin_GPS_bike

Garmin has launched two GPS navigators for touring cyclists, the Edge Touring and Edge Touring Plus.

The navigators work like GPS navigation for vehicles, and comes with bike-specific features, preloaded maps and POIs. They provide both on-road and off-road navigation and can provide round-trip ride options based on a set distance.

Cyclists can also choose between Cycling, Tour Cycling and Mountain Bike modes to calculate the most appropriate route.  The navigators calculate up to three routes to choose from, based on distance and elevation profiles.

Edge Touring and Touring Plus are expected to ship Fall 2013 for $249.99 and $299.99 respectively.
