Cyber security company FireEye has acquired Verodin for approximately $250 million. Verodin is a security instrumentation platform (SIP) company that provides organizations a platform to measure, manage, and test security environments against threats.
Verodin will integrate with FireEye Helix security orchestration capabilities. Customers will also be able to implement Verodin cyber security measurement and validation solutions “as-a-service” through the FireEye Managed Defense service and as an Expertise On Demand automated service, said FireEye in a statement.
Verodin solutions will also continue to be available on a standalone basis through Verodin resellers, as well as through the global community of FireEye channel partners.
Verodin had previously raised a total of $34 million from, including a $21 million Series B round in July last year. Headquartered in Tysons, VA, Verodin was founded in 2014.
