FIFA Launches Official Soccer App For IOS, Android

fifa_official_appFIFA, the international governing body of soccer, has launched the official FIFA app. The launch of the application coincides with the Final Draw for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, which fans can follow live with the app on Friday 6 December 2013.

The app is built on the foundations of FIFA.com, which during tournament months can receive in excess of seven billion page views and 150 million unique visitors.

At the heart of the app is the World Match Centre, providing live coverage from over 200 national leagues and competitions across the globe, personalized by the fan’s favorite clubs and national teams. It also includes a news section, with pictures and videos, as well as FIFA Explore, a series of interactive journeys to enable fans to get insights into FIFA initiatives that support the development of the game.

The app is available in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, and is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
