Facebook Newsfeed To Show Trending Topics In Personalized List

Facebook-TrendsFacebook is launching Trending, a new product that will bring up trending conversations on the News Feed.

Facebook will pull up a list of topics that have recently spiked in popularity, showing it on the right-hand side of the News Feed. The list will be personalized, and include topics based on things a user is interested in, as well as what is trending overall across Facebook. Each topic will also be accompanied by a headline, explaining why it is trending.

Trending is currently rolling out on the web version of the social networking site, with testing on mobile slated soon.
