Facebook Acquires Storytelling Platform

Facebook has acquired Storylane, a storytelling and blogging platform. The Storylane team will be joining Facebook, and the Storylane platform will be shut down. Storylane’s founder Jonathan Gheller announced the acquisition on Friday.

Storylane is not accepting news users, and the company is working on tools that will let existing users migrate their content elsewhere. Facebook is not acquiring any of the content that has been shared on Storylane.
