Embodied raises $22 million

Pasadena, California-based artificial intelligence and robotics company Embodied has raised $22 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Calibrate Ventures, along with Jazz Venture Partners. Jason Schoettler from Calibrate Ventures and Andrew Firlik from JAZZ Venture Partners are joining the Embodied board.

Existing investors in Embodied include Osage University Partners, Intel Capital, and Grishin Robotics.
