DataSift Raises $7.2 Million

DataSift has raised $7.2 million in financing from existing investors GRP Partners, IA Ventures, and Acacia Capital Partners.

DataSift is a real-time content curation and filtering platform. With DataSift, users can filter and analyze content across multiple real-time streams and pay only for the content they value.

DataSift started its life as an offshoot from TweetMeme, a Twitter news feed service The company was founded by Nick Halstead.
