CentML raises $27M

Toronto, Canada-based AI/ML optimization startup CentML has raised a $27 million seed funding round. The investment was led by Gradient Ventures, the venture capital arm of Google specializing in AI, and included participation from Radical Ventures, Nvidia, Deloitte Ventures, and Thomson Reuters Ventures.

The funding will be used to further develop CentML’s platform that aims to improve the performance and cost-efficiency of deploying machine learning (ML) models, according to the company.
