Canon Launches Vixia Mini X Hands-Free Personal Camcorders

Canon has launched the Vixia mini X compact personal camcorder, the latest member of the Vixia mini series of pocket-sized camcorders.

Key additions to the Vixia mini X include a built-in stereo microphone, together with full-format 1920 x 1080 HD videos in both MP4 and AVCHD (60i) formats. Other additions include a variable-angle LCD with a built-in stand, and one-touch switching between Wide and Close-up modes.

The camcorders have also gotten electronic image stabilization and built-in Wi-F, along with an enhanced battery with 2.5-times the record time of previous models, according to Canon. 

The Vixia Mini X prices start from $399.99.
